A unique walking tour of Tokyo’s historic business district, Kanda. It focuses on the hidden gems and stops at some landmark locations. Explore all of the character around Kanda station before moving toward Jimbocho Booktown.

Tokyo Tour Guide:

Guided by Jeff Austin, the creator and photographer behind the street photography site Tokyo Forgeries, this tour transports you to one of his favourite spots: Kanda. Join a select group to explore the food, history, charm, and outstanding photography opportunities in this bustling business centre of central Tokyo.

Kanda Photo Tour Details:

You can use any type of camera, including a smartphone like an iPhone, a full-frame digital camera, a traditional film camera, or a mirrorless camera. A versatile lens with a focal length between 24 mm and 70 mm is ideal for capturing a wide range of shots. While specialty lenses and filters can enhance your photography with creative effects, they are not essential for achieving outstanding results.  

We will meet at the West Exit of Kanda Station. A map with a blue star marking the location is provided below.

This tour is private, but travelling companions are welcome to join.
