Guided Photo Tour: Shiodome & Hamarikyu Garden
This area represents a blend of Tokyo's most modern and traditional locations. We begin by exploring the futuristic skyscrapers of Shiodome, known for their excellent architectural and street photography opportunities, capturing images of trains, people, and unique perspectives. Our next stop is Hamarikyu Gardens, a traditional garden adjacent to Shiodome, providing a picturesque juxtaposition of old and new against the backdrop of Tokyo.
Shiodome & Hamarikyu Garden Photo Tour Details:
We will meet at Japan Railways' Shimbashi station at the Shiodome exit and proceed to the stunning buildings of Shiodome. These structures are interconnected by tunnels and pedestrian walkways, providing excellent opportunities for street, people, architecture, long exposure, and even Shinkansen (bullet train) photography.
When visiting the nearby cultural heritage site, Hamarikyu Garden, one can enjoy a traditional Japanese garden with long winding paths, seasonal flowers, ancient trees, ponds, and a tea house. In the background, the Shiodome site beautifully brings traditional and modern elements together in the same scene.
